Tordesillas hosts the XVII National Wine Competition of Bodegas Cooperativas

Tordesillas hosts this weekend the XXVII National Wine Contest of Cooperatives Wineries, with the delivery of the popularly known as Manojo Awards, which organizes Urcacyl (Regional Union of Agrarian Cooperatives of Castilla y León) in collaboration with Agro-alimentary Cooperatives of Spain along with other institutions such as the Junta de Castilla y León, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment and the City of Tordesillas. This event aims to honor and recognize the professionalism of cooperative wineries throughout the national territory, as well as the effort they make to improve technology and facilities. The Premios Manojo will serve to also know the best of Tordesillas, the city of the treaty. Eating in Tordesillas will make the hundreds of guests who attend this event of national character can know the great cuisine that houses the area and its unique wines.

This contest manages to contribute to the promotion of Spanish wine and all turismo enológico that develops around them. The delivery of these awards will take place next Friday, June 15, at Houses of the Treaty of Tordesillas. Bundles of Gold, Silver and Bronze, and a Great Bunch will be awarded.

65 wines go to the final of the Premios Manojo 2018

Castilla-La Mancha with half the finalists is the Autonomous Community that has won more wines to the final tasting to be held on June 14. From there, the 27 winners in the XVII Premios Manojo.Urcacyl is in charge of visiting all the wineries with finalist wines to collect in them a second sample that will be evaluated in the final tasting.
